Tribute to citizen journalism and a master

Here's a message from U Missouri professor Clyde Bentley that's worth noting:

Please forgive my moment of bittersweet memory, but my mentor -- the community newspaper journalist who set me on the road to citizen journalism -- died Saturday. I wrote a tribute to Jerry Teague on how the unheralded sage preached a philosophy we celebrate as “new” today.
