The Virginia Press Association will be hosting a
two-day community journalism workshop aimed at beginning journalists, interns, copy editors, and anyone else wanting to improve their skills. The workshop will be held June 24-25, 2010, in Glen Allen, VA.
Among the topics for the workshop include interviewing techniques, beat maintenance, FOIA, new media, and storytelling techniques.
